This is a special post I asked Brian to write:
So i have known for awhile that i got into CU Boulder but it has only been recently that i have decided to go. I am for sure 100% that that is the school i want to go to when i go to college. However i am not 100% sure that i am going to go next year. There are still a few possibilities running around in my brain. I have though about maybe doing City year for a year in seattle or in Colorado. Just working full time for a year or maybe taking a position at the church as a full time sponsor. All of these possibilites seem interesting to me. I just don’t feel like i am completely sold on going to college quite yet. I would hate for my parents to have to pay tens of thousands of dollars just to find out im not ready yet. So im not totally sure what i am going to do but when i do go to college i deffenetly know where i am going.

As a former CU dropout, my advice would be to see if you feel comfortable there. It is a HUGE school, and one that is easy to be overwhelmed by. If you feel like going to City for a few years, you will be a) saving a lot of money and b) taking the time to figure out what you really want to do with your life.
Good luck!
Well, when you are ready, we are all here. Your Colorado family.
