This post seems to be older than 17 years—a long time on the internet. It might be outdated.
I spent a few hours yesterday making a whole article on Aerotagging for Wikipedia. It’s quite a bit longer than my short little post and should hopefully fill in some of the gaps. So, if you take pictures of airplanes, try it out and let me know what you think. It’s an open community standard so tweak to your hearts content!
