Chris and Lindsay Married

The times they are a-changin’.

This post seems to be older than 18 years—a long time on the internet. It might be outdated.

Chris and Lindsay were married tonight at UPC. It was small, but nice. Dave Rohrer was the presiding pastor. I also saw the likes of Andy Collins (Julia is out of town), Jonny McConnell, Karl Sjoberg, Dave Cameron, Jeff and Carin Towne (sans baby Ben, who was with babysitter for the first time), Bart and Erin Wiley, Erin and Chris Walsh-Griggs, Jeff Aitken, Nicola Stevens (who came over from Scotland), Meta Anderson, and really just about everybody else from The Edge/The Rock office.

As usual, photos are up online.

Of things to note:
I had an interesting discussion with a gentleman affiliated with the bride (I wish I could remember his name) who knew about The Colorado School of Mines and introduced me to his son who went to a technical school similar to CSM (again, I wish I could remember his name and the school).

The photographer also had a little mishap during the ceremony, his D70S rig fell off the tripod and broke. He was obviously frustrated (well duh, a couple grand worth of equipment had likely been destroyed) so I went over to offer the use of my D70. He had a backup D100, and politely declined. I talked to him during the reception about photography and he said that he was glad that I came over, even though he didn’t need my help.
