I’m at the airport and sun is just starting to come up now.
As usual, I didn’t get any sleep last night. I spent most of the time on the computer, just plowing through some of the crap in my Inboxen™, not that I got very far.
I spent 1.2 hours resting my eyes while I listened to Kashmir: The Symphonic Led Zeppelin. Around 3am I got back up and went to the UPS Store to drop of a small package that I needed to send out to Nikon. I also stopped by Burger King.
Burger King is open 24 hours, but only the drive through is open during the night. So I did a walk up. But no one was there. I rapped on the door, but no one answered. So I broke out my cell phone and sent, via SMS: “Burger King, 80401” to 46645.
If you punch 46645 into a keypad, you can spell GOOGL, which is the SMS address for the Google search engine. Google returned the phone number and address of the two BK’s located in 80401 and I call the one I was at and had them come to the window.
Took a shower and finished packing up my stuff and getting everything put away and ready to go. Then Jens Jensen drove me to the airport.
Definitely got here earlier than I planned, but better early then late.
A pilot just walked by saying, “The 7E7 is going to be nice.”
The sun is getting higher now.
9News (NBC), ABC7, CBS4, and FOX31/13 are all here. Me and Brittney almost got to go on live on Fox, but then not.
I’ve started the Thanksgiving 2005 Flicker set, so go check out those photos.
I should hopefully get on this flight.
