So I’m going skiing today with Audrey Nelson and Josh Gresham. Josh needed to go to his Surface Mining Engineering class this morning, mostly because he didn’t go on Tuesday. So he went to that. Audrey needed to go get gas and her flu shot.
As it turns out, if you get insurance through the school (as I do) if you pay the Health Serices fee (which is required if you go to Mines) (thanks Audrey), you can get a free Flu shot. Hmmm. Very cool. Audrey made a good point:
There is NO way I can get the flu anytime in the next 5 months. It would be academic suicide.
I don’t know if it would be academic suicide for me, but it wouldn’t be good. It was free, so I thought what the heck. So Audrey swung by around 9:20 and we went over to the Student Health Center. Now this part is amazing: It took less than 5 minutes to get my shot. I walked in, signed in, signed the release form, got taken to the White Room™ was prepped, poked, bandaged up, and out the door. All in under 5 minutes. Wow.
So, now I’m at the library. Checking the weather reports. Copper has no new snow in the last 24, WP/MJ has 2.5″ in 24.
