While Waiting for CRAPA

The times they are a-changin’.

This post seems to be older than 14 years—a long time on the internet. It might be outdated.

While I was waiting for CAPA to get fixed, I started messing around with IE. They have the system locked down very tight, so there wasn’t a whole lot I could do. So I had some social engineering fun. I typed:

javascript:alert('CAPA is Screwed!');

in the Address Bar and called the TA over.

Note: if you don’t get it, copy and paste this:

javascript:alert('CAPA is Screwed!');

into your address bar and press .

  3. I use a plugin that automatically blocks spam and usually does a very good job at it. Looking at the logs, you were originally blocked because your browser doesn’t support JavaScript. The encrypted payload was also missing (this is actually due to the lack of JS support, but it still counts against you). After your first two posts, your IP was blacklisted. I manually whitelisted it, so you should not have any more problems.
