Good Chem News, I Guess

The times they are a-changin’.

This post seems to be older than 18 years—a long time on the internet. It might be outdated.

Dr. Herrick, my chem prof sent out this email this morning:

Good morning everyone,
After grading the quiz and trying to choose questions for the homework, I decided to take a new approach to the exam. It came out as a “good news/bad news” thing actually. The bad news is that there won’t be a cheat sheet on this exam. I’ll have all the formulas for you on the cover page. The good news is that on Wednesday, I’ll give you 15 questions. Six of them will be on the exam. The numbers will be different, but the problems will be identical. I’ll explain more on Wednesday.
The grade display program has a glitch in it I’m working on. Hopefully today you can log in and get your scores.

Dr Herrick

I have to say that given the choice of having a cheat sheet or knowing how to work 15 problems, I would take the 15 problems in a Plank second.
