This post seems to be older than 15 years—a long time on the internet. It might be outdated.

I released version 0.7 of Dunstan-style Error Go download it.

  1. I think something’s gone a bit screwy with … Following one of your example links, such as, the url keeps concatenating “?error=404&referer=(none)&requested=/cgi-bin/index.php” to itself until the server throws a rod and delivers-up a majestic:

    Request-URI Too Large

    The requested URL’s length exceeds the capacity limit for this server.
    request failed: URI too long.

    Nothing to do with the WP plugin, really… I was just trying to see what the example page would look like.

  2. Okay, I think I figured out what you mean. That was a configuration error on my part (I used a relative URL in my META redirect) and it doesn’t affect the plug-in.
