Open Source Version of AFdN

The times they are a-changin’.

This post seems to be older than 15 years—a long time on the internet. It might be outdated.

First, I am back from Spokane. Second, I am leaving on Tuesday morning. So if there’s anything critical that someone needs to see me about, you better let me know quickly or wait until I’m back (maybe Spring Break, maybe May-ish, maybe middle or end of summer; who knows).

Now, I had this great idea: convert my website engine into an Open Source project on SourceForge.net. I haven’t had any requests for my source, but I’m going to be changing some things to make the AFdN engine a lot better. For starters, I’ve already changed the code so that it can use Movable Type CSS Stylesheets. I am also going to work on some code so that it can use MT Pluggins as well, hopefully. In short, I hope that I can make it sort of a PHP version of MT, but only for one person and only for one blog, but with other non-blog content.
