3 Week Review

The times they are a-changin’.

This post seems to be older than 19 years—a long time on the internet. It might be outdated.

I’m starting my 4th week at Mines today and thus far, I it’s been everything I thought it would be. The biggest difference between college and highschool are the class times. I don’t have a single day that is the same. I have an average of 4.8 hours of class a day, which is well over an hour less then highschool. I also have to say that for the most part, my classes in college are significantly more engaging then highschool. Granted, part of that is the fact that I am taking all science classes…which I have generally found more interesting then other classes.

However, I have also noticied an interesting phenomenon. I recognize and keep track of people based on how they resemble my friends from highschool. For instance, my Chem lab partner, Tony, is similar to Ross from SAAS. It’s not true for all people, but it’s interesting none-the-less.
