After par-tay

The times they are a-changin’.

This post seems to be older than 19 years—a long time on the internet. It might be outdated.

The after party was incredible. We jumped on two Greyhound buses and took off to this ferry parked on the North side of Lake Union. Got some food, listened to the music, got some Henna tattoo’s, and commented on how tired we all were. A short while later, we had hypnotist come in. Being the somewhat skeptical person I am, I wanted to experience first hand how this whole hypnotic thing worked. I was rather interesting. Here’s my official report on hypnosis:

Hypnosis is a rather misleading term for might otherwise be called a trance. In fact, the entire idea behind hypnosis is to lure to participant into a state between consciousness and unconsciousness by almost making them fall asleep. That is to say, the participant is so relaxed that they actually might could be considered to be sleep walking. While in this trance state, the participant can be requested, not forced, to perform a variety of acts. These acts must be something that the mind would find valid in a dream, thus certain acts are unable to be performed.

After that, we headed down south to Champ Karts. We raced around the track, played video games, ate yummy food, and played Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette. At 5:30ish, we headed back to Seattle where we had breakfast. We then proceeded to school.

I went home and promptly took a short 5 hour snooze.
