Moving In and Setting Up

I was finally able to move in to my place on Saturday. We (Mom, Dad, Uncle Danny, and myself) managed to do the entire move in just one trip with two Subaru’s and Danny’s truck. Thanks for helping everybody.

My new address is up on Facebook if you want to send me something…even an empty envelope, although hopefully something nice.

I may also post pictures sometime soon, we’ll see.

What I’m really excited for1 is not having to buy Internet. Instead, I’m sharing it with Ben and Co. via the miracles of WDS. Using two Linksys routers, the DD-WRT firmware upgrade, and this spiffy guide: DD-WRT Tutorial 2: Extend Range with WDS I was able to get that wonderful series of tubes to extend all the way from Ben and Co. side of the complex to my side. In fact, we could theoretically share with anyone know since I literally live the greatest distance away from Ben and Co. then any other unit in this complex.

1The actual exciting part is that I save tons of money over the year and I got to play around with/set up WDS.
