Work Goes on Display Tomorrow

I picked up some frames from Target the other day to see how the pictures would look. I got 8″ x 12″ frames with 4″ x 6″ mattes. My plan was to print the pictures on 5″ x 7″ paper at the proper ratio which would end up making the images 4.66″ x 7″. But I couldn’t print them out that way, so I printed a batch at 5″ x 7″ (cropped) and messed around with that. I didn’t like it too much, so I continued looking for frames. So after spending tons of time online, searching for the right picture frame I found my self at Pier 1 Imports (the brick and mortar version). They had these cool 11″ x 14″ Walnut Floating Photo Frames that are only $12. Costco can print 8″ x 12″ photos, which is the correct aspect ratio for my photos. So I picked up 4 of those frames, printed out another batch of my photos at the larger resolution (which was actually slightly larger then I should have printed at, but they look fine). I just got done framing them and filling out the forms. I’ll drop off my pictures tomorrow.

I’m not sure if they’ll be up tomorrow, but they could be. I’ll be drooping them off in the morning.

Hooray for bigger. They came out great, I like the clear matte the frame has. You win an apple t-shrit.
