I believe he gets most of his frames at Aaron Brothers Framing. Every once and awhile they have a really good sale. The only one I know of is the one in Highlands Ranch although I imagine there is on around here somewhere.

Audrey:
Yes, I do want to mat them. Does your dad have any suggestions on where to get frames?

Matt:
So here's the issue with the larger sizes: for whatever reason, frames come in 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10. The ratio's being 1:1.5, 1:1.4, and 1:1.25, respectively. In theory, I could get a 8x10 frame, blow up my photo to 8x12 and then crop an inch off the left and right. But then I've surpassed my maximum resolution.

Framing at 5x7 means printing at 5x7.5. This is better then printing at 8x12 because I'll still be within my maximum printing resolution. I also only have to trim off a quarter inch off each side. This seems like the easiest and cheapest way to go.

Congrats sir! I say find some cheap frames near the larger size, and make some artistic cropping.
