Jake’s One-Way White Elephant Gifts

This marks my one-year aniversary of attending Blog Meetups and just like last year, Jake from 8BitJoystick brought gifts for everybody. It’s really a clandestine project to empty his house of stuff he no longer needs ;-). I got some good stuff this year.

Dykes to Watch Out for is one of the better relationship comics out there. I just love underground comics… and cooking with costco products.

I just got back from the Seattle weblogger meetup for December and my Xmas white elephant give away went great. I filled fifteen bags with old DVDs, Games and CDs however only 11 nerds showed up so somelucky dorks got two bags. Anita should have a list of people that made it. If you were going to go and didn’t you really missed out. At the zenith of the evening the asian student dude that brought the microwave

LOL. Well, I intended to read all the books cover to cover, except maybe that Japanese cook book…I don’t think I’m that good of a cook.

Glad to hear you made the ferry. Thanks again for presents. Have a Merry Christmas and I’ll see you in May (when I return from Colorado).
