Something or other happened last night. Second time in six months that I’ve been inebriated (”drunk” is such a harsh word and has so many bad connotations). Over the 5 hours of the party:

Three Mike’s Hard Limeade’s, a Margarita, a strawberry daiquiri, and a dash of beer from a keg stand.

Note on the keg stand: I don’t like beer, but thought that trying a keg stand would be interesting. It’s not and I still don’t like beer.

Unlike last time, not only did all my clothing stayed on, but I gained an extra garment or two (see picture). Don’t ask.

To tired and inebriated to walk home, the night was spent at Dave’s. Nick thought it would be funny to write on my leg, something about taking my socks off next time. I woke up at 6:30am. Everybody else was still asleep. The morning sun was peering in through the cracks of drawn shade. I had a good time last night. Met some new people (which is always a good thing at Mines). I decided to leave before everyone woke up, many of them probably hungover; I wanted to remember the fun part. I grabbed a bottle cap as a memento and went home.

By the way, it’s 417 steps from the Post Office box on 17th to my house.
