SPOT Watch and Johnny Carson, Dead at 79

So what, praytel, does my SPOT watch have to do with Johnny Carson dying? Well, not much except that I was alerted to Carson’s death just 15 minutes ago on my watch while I was eating breakfast at the Cafe:

NBC reports that Johnny Carson has died from emphysema.

That was it. Simple, short, sweet. Yet very informative. I think Things that…make you hmm’s TDavid summed it up best:

He made us laugh through The Tonight Show, walking out on stage some 4,500+ times, Johnny Carson has exited this life at age 79. Thank you for making us smile.
