It

So it started snowing outside tonight. It started with a sprinkle around 7:30ish PM PST and it’s still snowing now, at 12:02 AM…the next day. Alas there is also no school, but then again, we’re still on Winter Break, so I suppose we wouldn’t have school anyways, snow or not. And yes, I’m still wearing shorts.

Merry Christmas Eve

A Merry Christmas Eve to everybody. I’ve been having a great vacation so far. I’ve gotten quite a bit of work done on my website. Most of the work I’ve done has the intention of bringing to a place where I can leave it for about four years or so, with minimum house keeping. This of course is in preparation for college. I still don’t know where I am going, but I do know that I am going having been accepted by two schools thus far. I will post a blog tomorrow with the list of presents that I recieved. You did get me a present didn’t you? On a separate note, I did see an absolutly hilarious film on AtomFilms.com, you really should check it out. It’s good.

That was last update from Starbase 156, the website I had before this. It was just about two and half years ago, the end of my sophmore year in high school. Looking back, I sometimes long for those days, but then I’m reminded how far I’ve come. Five more months left until I graduate…then 4 more years. I’m stuck in a place between Comments : No Comments »

Two down, CalTech to go

14 Dec 2003
in the wee hours

While the words we not as sweet as those from CSM, they were welcome just as much:

congratulations!!

you’ve been offered conditional admission for fall 2004 to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

And yes, they didn’t capitalize “congradulations!!” or “you’ve.” You can see for yourself if you don’t believe me.

Where I just might go to college…

at around evening time
The letter arrived in the mail yesterday:

Dear Andrew:

As part of our Golden Scholars Application Program, it’s a pleasure to offer you admission for fall 2004. You’re among the select students…

What does this mean? Well, unless CalTech accepts me, I will, in all likelihood, be heading off to Colorado School of Mines. This is the one big thing that I was thinking about day in and day out for the past month or so. So now that’s it’s done, wow…I don’t know what I’ll do. In case anyone else was wondering, I am also applying to CalPoly, and CU Boulder.
